Physiology Question

This is something I noticed as a result of my increased consumption of food, but especially water, throughout the day. I have begun to.. urinate upwards of five to six times a day. I'm not really worried about it, but is there any scientific evidence of that kind of cycle causing damage to my kidneys or pancreas?

Will google this in the meantime and post my findings soon..

  1. High protein intake increases something called your GFR which is basically the rate your kidneys extract stuff from your blood that turns into urine. A chronic high protein diet also causes growth to your kidneys in the long term as well which increases your urine output. I wont get into the physiology behind it because it will just be a lot of words but that's straight from the textbook. Also remember, the more water your drink, the more you lose. Make sure to drink a lot to avoid possible dehydration, and since you are starting a diet that is a large change from what you have been doing, it might not be a bad idea to go to the doctor and get some blood work and urine done.
